Guilt Free Desserts: Sweet Treats to Curb your Cravings

I love dessert.

What a way to start off a new post huh?! And why not – it’s Monday! But in reality, it’s very very true. I have sweet teeth, not just one tooth you see- a whole mouth of them! Each meal I eat is also usually followed by the cravings for sweet treats and that is most definitely the reason why my BMI is a little eye watering and I’ve recently had to seriously had to kick myself up the bum after a conversation with myself that started “I weigh HOW much?!?!?!”

Life is too short to not eat delicious things, so my mission recently has been to discover ways to fill my life (and face) with incredible sweets, cakes and puddings, but find recipes that won’t put quite so much damage on my waistline, and won’t leave me scoffing everything in sight, only to feel ridiculously guilty about it later. I have scoured the internet high and low for some of the most delicious looking recipes I can find, minus the sat-fat, calories and tears of frustration.

Most of the recipes I’ve found seem to be vegan, sugar free or gluten free or a mixture of all three) and focus on using natural ingredients, making them perfect for a quick fix for a dinner party with an awkward guest or just some inspiration for new types of recipes kept in one place – a list I’m keen to try out one by one so watch this space!
