What a Good Friday

When a lovely friend called and asked if she could come and stay over Easter weekend, I jumped at the chance and was determined to give her a few days of greenery that she really needed.. Getting out of the big city, the smoke, the daily grind, Miranda hopped on a train and whizzed her way down to Ye Olde Shire.

As we were heading off that evening, we went on a rather chaotic dog walk with the deerhounds to tire them out a bit and headed on our way.

We had a lovely evening being treated by Adams Mum organising Aphrodite to come and give us spa treatments at home. Relaxing from facials, Indian head massages, nails and makeovers, if only we hadn’t drunk  quite so much procescco we could have gone out to show off our flawless faces but instead we settled for some ridiculous selfies.

The next day called for a decent hangover cure and we headed out to Bigbury-On-Sea and Burgh Island which gave us a taste of salty air and blew the cobwebs away -especially during our wetsuit dance towards the sea and after we’d been for a rather chilly dip.
